TiVo outside club

I've suspected this for years, but last night, Chris Harrison--host of ABC's "The Bachelor"-- finally confirmed it. At the TiVo/Rhapsody launch event, he warmed up the crowd by stating, "TiVo is a whore." (He was referring to the fact that it's up all night, and he a made few other witty comparisons that I can't remember.)

Though he did a great job, I don't think the media came to see him; I don't even think they even came to cover the TiVo/Rhapsody news. The real reason everyone flocked to this event was to see Fountains of Wayne! TiVo graciously got the well-known band to perform an intimate show at the Area nightclub in NYC to celebrate their new partnership--and yes, they played "Stacy's Mom." The night was filled with awesome music, tasty hors d'œuvres, and company-branded drinks: the The TiVo HD Crystal Clear Cosmopolitan and the Rhapsody Rhaps-a-Tini. (Thanks to Dave over at Zatznotfunny for taste-testing with me.)

Plenty of pictures after the jump.
