Sony quietly announced the BWU-200S Blu-ray PC burner on Tuesday. The company's first 4X drive writes a full 50GB Blu-Ray disc in about 45 minutes, and will also write a single-layer DVD-R at 16X. The SATA (not PATA? Hurray!) drive ships with the CyberLink BD software. It will ship next month for $600, Electronista reports.
