Incredible Technologies, most famous for its the barroom staple, the "Golden Tee" arcade golf simulator, announced its 2008 model on Wednesday. It gets a tad silly.
Not content to model real-life courses, IT has launched into virtual courses, five of which will be included in the new model. Two -- Bayou Bay, set in Louisiana; and Cypress Cove, set on the Monterey Peninsula where Pebble Beach is found -- seem grounded in reality. But Summit Lakes CC puts golfers in the Yukon tundra, while Misty Springs CC allows golfers to play in YosemiteYellowstone, complete with geysers. A "casual mode" is also included.
The Eagle Crest course, however, plops a course right in the middle of Washington DC, allowing golfers to play a round on the Mall, complete with popular landmarks like the Washington Monument and Jefferson Memorial as backdrops. In one extreme case (shown above) you can even putt on the White House lawn.
I guess, after a few beers, who cares?

I don't know how to tell you this, but geysers are in Yellowstone. Yosemite is known for (very tall) mountains and waterfalls.

Duh - I knew that.
