The BlackBerry Pearl 8130 from RIM will now be carried by North American CDMA manufacturers beginning in November, the company announced Monday. Engadget Mobile is reporting that Sprint and Verizon will be the carriers.
New features include GPS and Blackberry Maps, which makes the $8.1 billion offered for Navteq by Nokia all the more interesting. The camera's been bumped up to 2 Mpixels, and a new Page View option allows the Pearl to zoom in on a Web page. Some interesting pieces of software, too: Roxio Media Manager for BlackBerry, which allows users to manipulate media on the PC; and Roxio Photosuite 9 LE. The Bluetooth Stereo Audio profile is also supported.

Oh no. Now I'm conflicted. If Verizon picks this up like mentioned, I'll be torn between the Razr 2 and the Blackberry Pearl when my contract comes up in February. :(
Time to check out reviews!
