At 9 PM Wednesday, Sling Media announced that it's adding to the Slingbox family of products with the Slingbox SOLO. It will sell for $179.99 in the U.S., and is also launching in Canada ($199.99) and the UK (£129.99).

The SOLO's key elements, according to Sling, are integrated support for component video, pass-through or "looping" outputs, and a refreshed design. And as with the Slingbox Classic, TUNER, AV, and PRO products, you can view your TV via the SOLO from anywhere in the world via Mac, PC, Windows Mobile, Palm OS, and Symbian devices.

Sling also announced that it will be launching the Slingbox PRO in the UK (£199.99), including a DVB-T tuner and a HD Connect cable.
