A large group of PC Maggers descended upon Pepcom's Holiday Spectacular last night in Manhattan's Flat Iron District. Pepcom holds the event every year to help us tech writer-types gather some fodder for our gift guides. Most of what's showcased at the show is the sort of fare that would fit happily beneath the tree of any gear lover: there were gaming PCs, cameras, mp3 players, digital cameras, and miniature helicopters. There were also a handful of less flashy products--things like security suites--apparently aimed at the more practical gift givers out there.
The Holiday Spectacular is always of the more fun shows of the season--this year, the theme was Holidays in the Alps, complete with a mini "chalet" in the middle of the floor, and just about everything else, save for the gondola and rum-carrying St. Bernard. We braved the blisteringly cold 75-degree weather outside to bring you the latest in holiday gift giving technologies. Check out some of our favorites, over at PCMag.com.
