Red Spartan Mimobot

About two weeks ago, Mimoco came to the PC Mag offices to show off the company's newest Mimobot designer USB flash drives that we were the first ones to see! And let me tell you, it was hard keeping them a secret! Finally, I can spit out the news to Gearlog readers. Today, Mimoco announced its Halo Mimobot Series 1 USB 2.0 flash drives for all of you Halo freaks out there!

Licensed by Microsoft and Bungie Studios, the Halo series will be available in three limited-edition designs: Master Chief Green (edition of 5,000), Red Spartan and Blue Spartan (3,000 each). Each Halo mimobot will come with pre-loaded Halo-related media, from wallpapers, screensavers, and soundBytes to unpublished pages from the Marvel Halo comics, sections from the Halo 3 strategy guide, and excerpts from the upcoming Halo novel. (Insert "ooh-aah" here.)

The Halo mimobot Series 1 will be available in 1GB ($49.95), 2GB ($69.95) and 4GB ($109.95) capacities. Mimoco.com is now accepting pre-orders. The Halo drives will be officially released at E for All Expo in Los Angeles on October 18th. So order them now, because they really do sell fast! (And keep in mind that this is Series 1, which means more Halo characters will roll-out ssoon!) Check out more photos after the jump.
