Shooting video can be a tiring process after uploading the video to your computer, using video editing software, and then sharing your videos with friends and family. Not to mention if you're on-the-go and don't have access to a computer. Pure Digital Technologies hopes to make your video experience a bit more instantaneous with the new Flip Video Ultra digital camcorder. Announced today, it lets you shoot video while editing and organizing video right on the device. Flip Video Ultra's built-in software also lets users upload them directly to AOL, YouTube and other video sharing sites.
The Flip Video Ultra features one-touch recording with 2x digital zoom, one-click e-mailing of videos/video greeting cards, still photo capturing, custom movie mixing, and a built-in tripod mount. A few of us Gearloggers attended Amazon's Electronics Holiday Press Preview here in NYC last month, and one of the products there just happened to be the Flip Video Ultra. It's the cutest camcorder ever, and after hearing how easy it is to useI want one!
The Flip Video Ultra Series is available starting today at Amazon.com/electronics, BestBuy.com, and other retailers. The 60-minute (2GB) model is $179.99 and is offered in four colors: white, black, orange and pink. The 30-minute (1GB) model is $149.99 and comes in white and black. In addition, Pure Digital will launch a line of Flip Video accessories, including a pouch, action mount, and USB extension cables.

I have the older version and love it. So small and easy to use, I take it on all my trips and capture a lot of candid shots of my friends. Really love the orange color, might have to give myself one for Christmas
