Perhaps it's just me, but hearing that Take-Two is delaying the latest entry in the perennial favorite Grand Theft Auto series to spring of '08, brings certain phrases to mind. Surely, somewhere behind guarded doors, a head-programming is screaming at his team things like, "this isn't red enough! Have none of you ever seen hookers' blood before?" and "an MS from Cornell and you call this a crackpipe?"

Okay, so they never actually used the word crackpipe anywhere in the announcement. It actually went more along the lines of "Certain elements of development proved to be more time-intensive than expected, especially given the commitment for a simultaneous release on two very different platforms."

But I mean, really, read between the lines, people. Drug paraphernalia and battered sex workers don't just render themselves.
