Last week we saw a gaggle of new-camera announcements from major manufacturers like Canon, Nikon, and Olympus. The most jaw-dropping may have been from Canon: Its high-end EOS-1DS Mark III takes megapixel count to a new extreme, offering an amazing 21.1-MP sensor. That's impressive. But megapixels are just one of many features you should be considering before you purchase a digital camera.
