I wish I could tell you that this new Indiana Jones video game will be available for all the next-gen gaming consoles well before the May 2008 release of the much-anticipated fourth installment of the popular action/adventure series. But alas, just like the film, Lego Indiana Jones the Video Game won't be released until summer 2008.
At this year's Comic-con, Lucas Arts announced this addition to its popular Lego adaptation video games (Lego Star Wars won Toy of the Year from The Toy Industry Association in February 2006), in cooperation with developer Traveler's Tales.
Gamers will be able to play through all three of the original Jones films as "the legend goes Lego." And, if the trailer is any indication, many of the most classic scenes from the films have been plastic-isizedcomplete with comic double takes, screaming snake phobias, and ten-ton rolling boulders (made of hundreds of tiny, plastic blocks. Naturally).

I'm psyched! I loved both Lego Star Wars games and would even suggest to LucasArts that they also use the extended Star Wars universe... Shadows of the Empire and some of the post EPVI novels.
I'm sure this Indiana Jones game will be fantastic fun!
