If you like over-the-shoulder sling bags and carry around a host of gadgets, CODi's new Sling-Pak just might be the bag for you. Alternatively, if you're the two-headed, three-armed President of the Galaxy, this bag could also be to your liking, as the sling strap oddly has two pouches and grommets for the media players and headphones of your choice.
For us single-headed, semi-evolved simians, the best bit about this bag just might be the plethora of pockets on the outside of the bag. For someone who carries around a laptop, cell phone, digital camera, music player, and etcetera ad infinitum, CODi's Sling-Pak makes it easy to get at said gadgets quickly and easily. There are no fewer than six outside pockets, four of which zip up. And if there's something more expensive you'd like to stash inside the bag, CODi has included about eight other pouches and compartments there as well. If you're carrying around more gear than that, you've probably just robbed an electronics store.
The sling strap clips to either the left or the right, which is nice, whether you're left-handed or your shoulder just gets tired from bearing the weight of all your gear. The main internal padded pouch will keep all but the largest of laptops (15.4 inches and less) protected.
The color scheme, simple black with red accents, is subdued but smart. And while the bag seems pretty durable, CODi also includes a "limited lifetime" warranty--which seems fitting, given that lifetimes generally are limited.
The CODi Sling-Pak is available now. But don't expect all the gear-lugging goodness to come cheap. The bag is available direct from CODi for $148, which is a small price to pay if you happen to have two heads who both like music, or a ton of gear to lug around.
