mountaindewhalo.jpgWhat would make the sickly sweet caffeinated sweetness of Mountain Dew all the sweetly sweeter? How about a little inappropriate cross-promotion? Pepsi Co. has finally heeded the long unanswered calls for another means of providing gamers with an in-flux of empty calories.

The new Mountain Dew Game Fuel is the company's cherry-flavored ultra-caffeinated response. "Microsoft's Halo 3 is more than just a video game," said Mountain Dew's VP of marketing (presumably whilst riding a dirt bike over the side of the Grand Canyon), "it's become a cultural phenomenon that deserves its own special Mountain Dew extension."

Game Fuel hits store shelves today, brewed lovingly from unnatural flavors, 30% more caffeine, the blood of fallen opponents.

If you're after a caffeine hit, why not just go to the source and have an actual coffee, cola, or one of those Red Bull energy drinks. Also, wasn't Dr Pepper Cola the preferred geeks choice of drink?
Cheers,
Harvey

Nah Harvey, Bawls is actually the preferred geek drink of choice, if you can find/afford it.

My question though, is if it's cherry flavored, why does it look orange? Maybe something to do with making it look as unnatural as possible?

Maybe the orange is suppose to signify the color of a grunts blood from the game halo. Especially after a head shot on one of them.
