Cibox Wireless Cine Box

Apparently this box is all the rage in France--at least that's what Cibox tells us. The Cine Box is a media extender that helps you get multimedia content from your computer to your TV. It's surprising, really, how few competitors there are in this space. The Cine Box seems to have a lot going for it. It supports most of the key video codecs: MPEG1/2/4 (IFO, ISO, DAT), DVIX, Xvid, WMV9 WMVH, and sports hi-def playback at 720p/1080i via its DVI or component out. It's got WiFi b/g, a 160GB hard drive, and optical out. Others have brought these options to the table, but never managed to live up to the expectations.
This has a tough category to sell--even the hotshots Apple confess that their Apple TV isn't selling as well as they'd hoped. The Xbox 360 does a good job ever since they improved their video codec support, but the console is pricey, and Netgear's HD EVA8000 remains buggy. Come on Cine Box, we're all pulling for you!
V-Moda Vibe Duo
The V-Moda Vibe Duo is one of the first headphones that bears a "Made for iPhone" logo. Unlike the crummy headphones that the iPhone ships with, these claim to have noise isolating capabilities. But what makes them iPhone certified is the microphone that rests where the left and right headphone wires meet. This way, when your iPhone rings while you'rr listening to music, you can pause and answer calls through your headphones. (Tip: when you're listening to music and answering calls on your iPhone, make sure to keep your collar popped and your hair greased. Yes, the iPhone makes you that cool).
