Pandigital, one of my favorite digital photo frame manufacturers, announced today that it has expanded its line of photo frames with new features. Each model now includes more onboard memory capacities ranging from 128MB to 256MB; an automatic timer so the frame can be programmed for specific on and off times; a calendar and alarm clock function; and a headphone jack for listening to music. If that's not enough, Pandigital is also releasing accessories for the frames, including the Digital Photo Frame Bluetooth Connector/Adapter ($39.99, July), for viewing content from Bluetooth-enabled devices; the Digital Photo Frame Wi-Fi Wireless Connector/Adapter ($49.99, August); and a feature that few, if any, digital photo frame manufacturers offer, a Battery Pack ($49.99, August) that provides up to three hours of viewing time on a single charge. Three hours of playback isn't a long time, but it does come in handy if you want to show photos at a friends' house or bring the frame on vacation. Find out what screen sizes the new Pandigital digital photo frames will be available in, as well as prices, over at PCMag.com.

Pandigital needs to address their less than adequate instruction books(ie how to play pictures and music at one time) and provide better support options for their product.
