Last night, LG held their annual "Life's Good" event at Christie's Auction House. The theme was LG Masterpieces, and the night was complete with faux auctioneers, numbered bidding paddles, and a presentation set inside the auction room. Sadly, there were no bidding wars to be had or fast-talkin to be heard. But the company had a mix of brand new products on display as well as some recently released products we've had a chance to look at such as the Chocolate 8550 phone (pictured). Check PCMag.com soon for our in-depth review.
LG is not very well known as a GPS manufacturer, but last night they unveiled the brand new LN790, a portable navigation system, if you will. This is actually their fourth such device--who knew? (We did apparently; stay tuned for our review of LN740). The company also announced several new LCD and Plasma HDTVs, namely the "LBX" HDTV LCD series of 42-, 47- and 52-inch models, and the PY3D Series 1080p Plasmas in 50 adn 60-inches. There were also some cool appliances unveiled--such as a fridge with an HDTV on its door! And of course, no summer media party would be complete without food and drink and mingling. After the jump: pictures from the party.

I love it! I wish I could buy it right now!
