Today, Kingston Technology announced its newest CompactFlash Ultimate Memory cards to hit the market, with twice the minimum write speed of its previous line. Increasing the write speed from 133X to 266X allows digital SLR camera users to shoot without interuption.Available in 2GB ($83), 4GB ($144), and 8GB ($280) capacities, the new CF Ultimate cards also feature MediaRECOVER data recovery software, to restore images files should they get lost, deleted or corrupted. The MediaRECOVER software is available as a download from Kingston's Web site and is compatible with either Windows or Mac systems.
