Did you grow up watching Bob Barker hosting The Price is Right? My mom says that as a toddler, watching the popular game show was the only thing that calmed me down! After 35 years of Bob and Showcase Showdowns, now you can play The Price is Right on your PC, thanks to today's announcement of FremantleMedia and Ludia's The Price is Right downloadable PC game.
"From the thrill of the opening 'Come on Down,' to 'Contestant Row,' through the first spin of 'The Wheel' to the final 'Showcase Showdown,' the prices, prizes and products featured in the game are all based on real-world merchandise, continually updated for endless hours of entertainment." Some of the games you can expect to play are Plinko, Cliffhangers, Hole in one (or in two), and Punch-A-Bunch. Players can choose their virtual character to compete against friends or family in Party Game mode. According to the press release, The Price is Right Game will debut on several PC downloadable game destinations in December 2007.
