We'd normally steer clear from a gadget with a hunch on its back, but Asus' PG221 is the exception. The cylindrical hump growing on this LCD's rear is actually a 15-watt subwoofer that lets the 22-inch display deliver 2.1 stereo sound. According to the folks at Far East Gizmos, the LCD can also handle virtual 6.1 channel sound with SRS TruSurround XT. Visually, the LCD won't disappoint either hitting a 1,680 x 1,050 resolution with a 2ms response time. Other features include a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam and every connection you could possibly want from a computer display including DVI and component connections. No word on pricing or availabilty yet.
