Nintendo's on a bit of a roll of late. First it was the whole reinventing the face of console gaming thing, with the Wii and DS, and then they managed to outsell the PS3 six-fold. Now they're socking it to Sony and Microsoft with their new environmentally friendly business plan. Some of the highlights include using 80-percent recycled paper in their packing (plus fully recycled paper for their instruction manuals and no Styrofoam, whatsoever), recycling the paper used in the company's offices, and doing away with plastic Game Pak covers. As Treehugger noted, here's nothing on their list that's earth-shattering, and the whole thing reeks of PR, being that they, you know, sent it out via press release and all, but heck, a little environmental consciousness goes a long way, right?

Now if only we could convince that plumber to slap some solar panels on that damn kart of his...
