USB SquidFans of the Power Squid now have a USB hub designed specifically for their squid-like tastes. The USB Squid is a 4-port USB hub designed with each port dangling from the body of the hub, so each one of the ports can actually be used without difficulty.

The problem with a lot of USB hubs is that the ports are stacked on top of one another or are so close to one another that as soon as you plug a device into one port, the plug is so large that it eclipses part of another port, rendering it useless. The Power Squid gets around that by giving you individual, flexible tentacles with a wall wart-friendly recepticle at the end of each one. The USB Squid is the same way, with each individual port on a short adjustable cord attached to the main body. Its not a powered hub, so don't expect to attach too much to it, but a couple of flash drives and a printer should be okay. The USB Squid is small enough to fit in any bag, and runs about $20.
