Looking for a way to combine your love for text messaging with your passion for not walking the streets naked? No, us either. Apparently some folks out there are, and Reactee is the only company who will listen to their deafening cries.
The concept is simple enough. You create a slogan and a keyword and via Reactee's site, pick your size and color, plunk down $20, and they'll create a t-shirt. The shirt features the slogan at top, and the words "Text [Keyword] to 41411." Passersby see the shirt, and, unable to resist their textual impulses, immediately send an SMS to the number on the shirt. They receive a response and you are notified that they've sent a message (standard texting fees and optional subscription fees apply).
The site seems geared toward activists, subscribing to that old notion that a well-placed t-shirt slogan can change the world. Maybe not, but at least in this case, it may actually engage people to do...something.
