Gee, why would a clothing manufacturer go to such lengths to be young and hip in today's tech world? Levi's has announced that it will offer a fashionable cell phone in metallic silver, black and brown copper, with feminine "shiny silver" and "shiny sand" editions featuring a mirror screen. "Technology is at the heart of today's youth culture and mobile phones
are the ultimate accessory. Adding a mobile phone to our collection is a natural progression for Levi's, a brand that is driven to meet the desires of young people," says You Nguyen, Senior Vice President of Levi's Product. A "natural progression"? Who are we fooling here? Not Americans that's for sure, considering the Levi's Phone will only be available in Europe, beginning September 2007. Levi's should stick to just clothes. Weren't its RedWire DLX iPod-compatible Jeans enough? [via PRNewswire]

What? So if I like shiny silver, I'm feminine? Damn...

Well then.
THIS'LL be a short-lived product, methinks. ;) But then again, it might catch with the Fashionistas!
