Tsk tsk, Kmart. The retailer was forced to pay $15,000 in fines because "79 percent of merchandise on display at the Kmart store in Greenburgh were not item-priced," reports NYJournalNews. The store is located in Westchester County, NY and according to the county's law, merchandise on store shelves must be clearly marked with a price tag.Notably, the unmarked items in the Kmart happened to be kitchen utensils, appliances, tool, cosmetics, garden products and toys, many of which came from the Martha Stewart Everyday product line. I don't know how many times I'll walk into a Wal-mart or Target and not be able to tell how much an item costs. Even worse, I can never find those price-checking machines! [via The Consumerist]
