Ever hear of fecal coliforms? Yeah, they're about as repugnant as they sound. And if you're too scared to click on that link, suffice it to say you don't want those facultatively-anaerobic, rod-shaped, gram-negative, non-sporulating suckas in your mouth...or on your toothbrush for that matter.
Here's where ThinkGeek's Travel UV Toothbrush Sanitizer comes in. Glowing with the combined magical powers of ultra-violet radiation and ozone, the sanitizer bathes your toothbrush with those germ killing rays and renders all microscopic bugs dead. Seriously, science backs this stuff up! Want more reason to invest in the $30 TUVTS? It's battery powered and portable, so you can take it on the road and protect yourself from all those foreign fecal coliforms.

wait. wait wait wait.
Fecal coliform bacteria are usually only present in human sewage (the word fecal is in there for a reason!) or in water that's been contaminated by human fecal waste.
Which begs the question: if you're worried about fecal coliform on your toothbrush, where have you been putting your toothbrush!?

What, you don't brush your teeth with toilet water? I was referring to the fecal coliforms of non-fecal origin--the Enterobacter, Klebsiella, and Citrobacter varieties.

Ah HAH! I didn't know there were any of non-fecal origin. The more you know! ;)
