Steve Jobs really wasn't kidding when he reaffirmed that "late June" iPhone release during the D Conference last week. It's not the last day of June, technically, but it appears the hyped device is now officially slated for a June 29 debut...the last business day of the month.
On Sunday night, Apple and AT&T starting airing 3 new spots for the iPhone on CBS, one of them during 60 Minutes. The three ads all pretty much get straight to the point, showing the iPhone in various states of action: playing movies, scrolling through iTunes albums--one spot, entitled "How To" even gives a tactile walkthrough of how the iPhone actually works.
Kicking yourself for brushing off Andy Rooney last night? No need to despair. All three ads can now be viewed on Apple's Web site.
