How many hours a day do you spend playing World of Warcraft? Five? Ten? Twenty-six? Beyond the constant shoveling of assorted snack food, how can you really tell that you're actually alive?
Fortunately for you, Gadgets.in has a solution that doesn't involve actually getting up from your monitor and making your way to a doctors office. The oddly-named Heart Beet Mouse features a biometric scanner on the right button that gauges both the users' heartbeat, and, as a strange bonus, the lighting of their work environment. Not only that, apparently, this sneaky little bugger also sends your readings to your doctor, when you least expect it. According to the site, "this hi-tech gizmo does transmit your statistics to your doctor's e-mail or mobile through the Internet and you never know when it has done it."
Scary, in a health-conscious sort of way, but when you consider the fact that just about every other piece of hardware and software on your system is likely spying on you already, heck, you might as well make it a matching set.
