best thing i've read about the iphone yet. like you suggest, the interface is surprisingly inconsistent. no rotating keyboard in some apps, no standard way of dealing with the concepts of "back" and "next", and going to a new web page in the browser is confusing.

Great post. Helpful. I've got mine sitting here, but i just can't pull the trigger and switch from tmob to at$t. It's almost not worth it to me. Might take the $60 restocking hit. Someone convince me to switch.

great review.I have the iPhone and I love it,despite its drawbacks. Don't know why with 8 gigs of memory they didn't include video options or zoom a d whatnot for the camera...I guess they are saving that for the inevitable upgrade that will im sure will come out ridiculously fast.like you mentioned, I could use a louder volume output too.And why no attachments in msgs?
