DSBrowser.jpg It's about time. Ever since I first saw The Opera Nintendo Browser in a YouTube video about ten months ago, I've been itching to get surfing on my DS Lite. It may seem strange to want to view the web on a hand-held gaming device, but the key features of the DS (dual-screen, touch sensitivity) make it an ideal platform for mobile web viewing. And Opera seems to have done a superb job with implementation, offering a plethora of viewing modes and an on-screen keyboard that looks to be at least as good as the one on Apple's iPhone.

The Nintendo DS Browser is available now on Nintendo.com for $29.99, and should be showing up soon at your favorite retail store. Just make sure you pick up the right model, because there are separate versions for the original DS and the DS Lite.
