Brookstone uHarmonyLast night at the Digital Experience event in NYC, the Weird Hunter was on the prowl for some weird gear. Sadly, I didn't see too many unusual products (and received many confused faces when I walked up to vendors asking them if they had anything weird).

What do you get when you combine an iPod, a chair, and vibration? Brookstone's uHarmony Massage Chair. The uHarmony utilizes "body-scanning" technology, so that no matter your body type, it will tailor the massage to you. There are six programs to choose from for the most relaxing experience. I was disappointed though that it doesn't massage your arms.

The remote is what surprised me the most: it has an LCD screen and displays the parts of the chair that are giving you a massage in real time. So that we won't be shocked when we start feeling something I guess?

Find out my experience with the uHarmony.

I decided to be brave (I was wearing a skirt after all) and sit in the chair with my knees together. The company rep proceeded to power the chair, and I felt my neck, then back, even my feet being massaged. It's supposed to relive tension all over your body, and when the chair began to close in on my legs it was a bit scary because it gets really tight!

Of course I had to ask if the chair also massages your butt; and yes, it does! It also provides heat therapy. And for the weirdest feature: connect your iPod or MP3 player and it will massage you in synchronization with the music!!

The uHarmony Massage Chair is available now for $3,995. Hmm, it's cheaper just to ask my boyfriend!
