Made Products, makers of rubberized skins for SLR cameras, is stepping into the point-and-shoot accessories market with a line of Always-On products that seem to have some innovation behind them.
The Millipod is a micro-tripod that latches onto the bottom of your camera via the tripod hole, and goes wherever your camera goes. Because it folds flat and is small and thin anyway, it doesn't seem like it'll add much bulk to even the sveltest of digicams. It has to be better than balancing a thin camera on a precarious precipice in a stiff breeze just to get that magical picture.
And in case that breeze makes your poor camera cold, Made Products is releasing a camera wrap that also attaches to the underside of your point-and-shoot. The best part? The two products are designed to work together, and when they do, with the camera wrap billowing out like a cape, your camera looks oddly like a superhero striking a heroic pose. Shazam!
No word on pricing or availability, but Amazon and B&H both sell Made Products, so if you're interested, keep an eye out.
