Accordion Hero

Okay, this is one of the funniest games I have ever heard of. And apparently, I missed the first version!! Accordion Hero II comes from a German company called Schadenfreude Interactive. Similar to Guitar Hero, the idea is to play along to the 65 built-in songs, except using the USB Strumpf Blue double-bellows accordion controller. Yes, an accordion!

Some of the songs you can challenge yourself to are MC Hammer's "Can't Touch This," Metallica's "Ride The Lightning," and "In Heaven There Is No Beer."

Are there really polka-loving gamers out there? That's the question that has yet to be answered. The first Accordion Hero is said to have been released last April, so you know what that means: it's an April Fools joke! Although, Chip Chick reports that they saw an ad for Accordion Hero II in Computer Games Magazine. Confused? So am I. But judging by the other products the company offers, such as "Grand Theft Ottoman," "Age of Ornithology," and "NACHTMUSIK," a karaoke survival horror game, polka gaming will forever be a dream. Too bad, 'cause I'd love to try it!
