Okay, Lance, Pleo looks cool and all, and sure, I really, really want one, but that kid's toy is just...um, child's play. Having made the gadget blog rounds, this morning, I found something much more suited to my life-long dinosaur obsessions over at Gizmodo, namely this 18 foot high, 55 foot long life-sized Camarasaurus replica, the thunder lizard for which the Toyota Camry, chamomile, the camera phone, and Candice Bergen were all named.
$55,000 seems like a downright bargain. Honestly, that's a mere thousand dollars a foot. Best I can tell, the thing doesn't do much more than stand around, but that should be more than enough to protect your home from attacks by inanimate Tyrannosaurus Rexes.
