The U.S. showdown for the World Series of Video Games will take place in Los Angeles, during the Entertainment for All Expo, occurring October 18-21. Presented by Intel, the WSVG will hold its final and largest U.S.event at E for All, before heading to Europe for the last two events. WSVG, which promises prizes totaling more than $90,000, will feature four arenas of competitive game play on multiple titles including World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, Guitar Hero II, EA Sports Fight Night Round 3 and Call of Duty 2.
In case you can't make it to Los Angeles, there will be online coverage of the competition, as well as a one-hour televised special for November. So it seems that the only loser might be the city of Orlando, Florida, which had been the previously announced stop for the tour. Better luck next time Orlando.
