This isn't your mild-mannered office chair; I mean, yes it can do that, too, but this seemingly normal swivel seat has super powers. The flip of a latch turns the Trey Chair's seat and back frame into a rocking chair complete with rails for balance. The base becomes a side table, footrest, or extra seat.
Voila! The end of your seating shortages!
The Sauder Manufacturing Company, the chair's maker, says the transforming chair is ideal for small living spaces like college dorm rooms. But it was specifically designed with gamers in mind; the idea being that a person can go from the computer screen to a lower level in front of a TV and gaming console without leaving his or her seat--literally. It also makes it easier for gamers to host people without having to bring in extra seating or furniture to accommodate an impromptu PlayStation marathon.
You can purchase the chair for $239 in a variety of fabric and faux leather colors; also, get free shipping until June 15.

I think the Trey Chair is really cool. Is it available in the UK yet?
