A coffee table adorned with cup stains, already-been-chewed gum (underneath, for that extra surprise) and back-issues of PC Magazine is so last century. These days, we want our coffee table to have not only four legs--with wheels, no less!--but also a customized image of whatever our geeky hearts desire. While my own coffee table is too cluttered with gadgets to benefit from this, the Vu Coffee Table by Vu Unlimited can be fitted with a printed acrylic. You can send in your own digital file or choose from their selection of stock backgrounds.

The table itself isn't going to win any interior design awards, but at least you can literally stare down your critics by plastering your own face on it. [Engadget via MoCo Loco]
