Desktop Forklift

You're stuck on an important conference call, and your soda is on the other side of your cube, getting warm--you can't reach it, because your phone cord is a few inches too short. The R/C Desktop Forklift from ThinkGeek can head across your desk, pick up your drink, and bring it back to you. Okay, so most people's desks aren't so large that we can't get from one end to the other while on the phone, but the R/C Desktop Forklift is still a fun toy to have in the office.

The forklift can handle only about 4 ounces of material, which makes it perfect for cans and bottles of soda, coffee mugs, cups, pads of paper, and other small items. The controller takes one 9-volt battery, and the forklift needs another 4 double-As. The R/C Desktop Forklift, along with three warning cones, can be yours for $25.

That's perfect for a lazy guy like me.

It can only handle four ounces? Last I checked, a can of tasty beverage is more like 12 fl oz, and an oz is about an oz here is the States. (remember, a pint's a pound the world around.)
Looks like it's only good for moving empties and near-empties.
Too bad, it sounds like fun, otherwise.
