The phrase "pen drive" usually refers to any USB flash drive that's small enough to be compared to a pen, but Japanese company Narae Inter's Multifunctional Pen brings new and more literal meaning to the phrase. The Multifunctional Pen is obviously a flash drive and a pen, with different models sporting between 128MB to 2GB of storage for your files, presentations, and documents. However, Narae Inter has added more features to the already small package by including an LED flashlight and a laser pointer.
All of the gear is at the top of the pen, and the writing element is contained in the bottom. Separate the pen into its two halves, and plug the top half into any USB port to get access to your data. The laser pointer and flash drive are also at the top of the pen. Put the two halves back together and you have an attractive writing utensil that most observers wouldn't be able to distinguish form an ordinary pen. No pricing information has been revealed about the Multifunctional Pen, but considering the features it will likely be expensive and probably a bit heavier than the average pen. [ via UberGizmo ]
