This product makes total sense! When I'm charging my cell phone or iPod nano, I usually leave them on the floor of my condo. But then it becomes such an easy target for dust, not to mention the dog walking all over it. Enter the Socket Pocket: a wallplate that is placed over an electrical outlet to conveniently store and organize your cell phone, PDA, MP3 player or other small device while it's charging. Gregg Myles Levin, president of Perfect Curve Inc, says that he charges his cell phone on his kitchen counter, but "it was always getting wet or getting pushed aside to make way for a boiling pot of pasta. Other friends of mine leave their cell phones or iPods on the floor in their bedroom to charge where they often trip over the cord. Wherever you put the Socket Pocket, your electronic item will be safe, secure and organized."
The Socket Pocket comes in two color options, white or tan, and will begin shipping to select stores and catalogs beginning June 10th. It may be available in major retail stores by the end of this year as well. Depending upon the retailer, the retail price ranges from $9.99 to $14.99.

This is a nifty gadget! I really like the idea of my cellphone having a snug little storage place that is away from water and other disasters!
