I was so happy to open my inbox today and find an e-mail from Sanyo, alerting me that the mobile brand was ranked the highest in customer satisfaction with wireless mobile phones, according to J.D. Power and Associates' 2007 U.S. Wireless Mobile Phone Evaluation Study. "This represents the fifth time Sanyo has received the highest ranking in the six years that J.D. Power and Associates has published the study...Sanyo received a score of 726 on the customer satisfaction index, well above the industry average of 718."The study is based on responses from 21,000-plus households who have owned their mobile phone for less than two years. Phone brands were judged on five key mobile factors: physical design, operation, features, handset durability, and battery function. Specifically, Sanyo outperformed every mobile brand in the area of operation. So why exactly was I excited to hear about this news? Because I own a Sanyo PM 8200. I've had it for over two years and I absolutely love it. Sure, I'm due for an upgrade soon, but nothing beats its voice quality. Even PCMag phone analyst Sascha Segan recently pointed out in his column that "Sony Ericsson and Sanyo phones, for some reason, are usually spot-on." Go Sanyo!!!
