Developed with HP, the Presto e-mail service is ideal for anyone who doesn't want to deal with computers, but still wants to stay digitally connected.
Presto is easy to use: Send a photo or e-mail from your computer or mobile device to a person who has the Presto service. Their domain (username@presto.com) will collect the message into the recipient's HP Printing Mailbox (which can share a phone jack with a landline phone) and format it for easy viewing. The message stays in the mailbox until a specified printing time; you can print messages up to five times per day. Your granny can then collect the printouts and enjoy photos and e-mail messages. You can choose from a number of colorful printout styles.
If you're worried about spam, worry no more: the HP Printing Mailbox only accepts messages from a list of approved family or friends that you create during setup. In other words, if a spammer wants to try to sell grandpa some Viagra in the middle of the night, the Presto service will not allow that message through, and he can sleep in peace.
As for cost, you'll pay $9.99 per month or $99 a year for the Presto Service, and $149.99 for the HP Printing Mailbox.

Was thinking of getting it for my parents, but that is a bit pricey for such out-dated technology. You are better off buying a cheap fax machine
