The Charge N Start

One of my friends likes to describe jumpstarting your car as a mystery with life or death consequences: "Connect the red lead to positive and the black lead to negative and you die. Connect the red lead to negative and the black lead to positive and you die. Connect anything to anything and you die." That's not exactly true, but I couldn't stop thinking about what he said the last time I had to jumpstart my car. Now that I've found the Charge N Start, I might not have to worry about it anymore.

The Charge N Start plugs into the cigarette lighter or power adapter in your car, and then into a lighter or adapter in a car with a good battery. There's a 5-meter cable so you don't have to park the cars on top of one another; just leave the car with the good battery running until the red light on the plug in your car goes out and the green light turns on. When the green light comes on, it's safe to start your car. The Charge N Start offers you a simple, easy way to jumpstart a car with a dead battery without having to pop the hood, find the battery, or get your hands dirty trying to figure out which lead is which. You can get one for £17.95 (approx $36 USD).
