As Ray Davies and The Kinks taught us with their terrific 1965 album, Kinks Kontroversy, a well-placed letter 'K' can be substituted for a 'C' with bold and insightful results. The important thing here, however, is not to get carried away.
Exhibit A: The Kitty Keyboard Kover. Like 'controversy,' the word 'cover' traditionally begins with the letter 'C,' and once again, we find that someone has opted instead to substitute it with that oft neglected eleventh letter. To paraphrase that late great senator from Texas, "I know Ray Davies, and you Kitty Keyboard Kover, are no Ray Davies."
It's not so much actually misspelling the word Cover that I find particularly unfortunate, as much as, well, you see, people in the tech industry are abbreviating fiends, and trying to go the cute route by invoking a alliterative scheme that results in your product being abbreviated to three consecutive Ks is a bit ill-advised.
Oh well, it got our attention, so perhaps the marketing was successful, in its own, unique way. If, unlike me, you're not deathly allergic to felines, you might be inclined to check out the pictures of the Kover in action over at their site, being tested out by a feline that really ought to be voiced by Bill Murray. I'll just klose my eyes.

Mr. Heater has excellent taste in 60's albums, I must say! God Bless and Save The Kinks - a great band for any decade.
