Given that its film has the word 'Pirates' in the title, those scurvied dogs at Disney aren't putting up with much in the way of copyright infringement, when it comes to Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. Okay, that's not altogether too surprising--after all, this is Disney we're talking about here, the wicked stepmother of copyright enforcement. What is surprising, according to a report posted on Boing Boing, is the company's seeming disregard for the recording capabilities of the devices banned from a recent critics' screening. A film critic from the Arizona Daily Star had to abandon his Nintendo DS.

On second thought, maybe the company isn't quite convinced that its threequel is more interesting than a round of New Super Mario Bros.Yaaaar.
