The DNA in the name of the Tangle DNA Speakers actually stands for Dynamic Neural Audio (not deoxyribonucleic acid), but the speakers get that name because of their funky design. Each 2.25-inch, 8-ohm speaker sits atop a flexible stand that can be positioned or bent to your liking. The buttons on the stand at the bottom give you complete control over the position of the speakers.
The speakers put out decent sound for being so small--1 Wrms per channel, with a 100Hz - 15K frequency range. You have your choice of power source too: The DNA Speakers can be connected to AC power, you can pop in 4 AAA batteries, and you can even connect them to your computer and power them over USB. This very unique speaker set can be yours for $40 from Thinkgeek.com.
