It's a hot summer night, the air conditioning is broken, and all you have is a standing fan. The fan blades oscillate from one side of the room to the other, and you're lying in bed, sweating. You long for those brief moments when the fan is blowing directly onto you, but dread the inevitable passing of the fan blades as they pass over you and move on to cool another part of the room. Sure, you could get up and aim the fan directly at your bed, but then the rest of the room would stay warm and the air would get stale.
Now you can sleep easier and chill out (ha!) a bit more, with the 360-Degree Fan. The fan's blades are located in a sphere mounted on top of a lamp-sized base. When the 360-Degree Fan is turned on, a rush of cool air blows in all directions. The 360-Degree Fan has designer flare and comes in black with satin nickel finish, satin nickel with chrome finish, and bronze with brass finish. You can place the fan in the middle of a room and, using any of the three settings, keep everyone cool while watching TV, or circulate the air in your bedroom during those toasty summer nights. It's about 14 pounds, so it's light enough to carry from room to room. At $239, however, this one is going to cost some cold, hard cash.
