So what if the average life of a battery is spent inside a dark, cramped compartment of a gadget or toy; they deserve to be fashion forward too. And how many outfits have you seen that match copper and black during Spring? Between my bright iPod shuffle and a pair of stylish headphone accessories, the new pastel collection of USBCELL batteries fits right in. 2-cell packs of the AA batteries sell for $19.95 and you can recharge them through any USB port.
If pretty pastels don't strike your fancy, Moxia Energy is putting a call out to the worlds leading fashion designers in an attempt to fix the fashion faux pas committed by batteries of old. In the meantime, you'll have to settle for alternatives such as a camouflage version developed for the military - in case you need to stealthily steal batteries from the communal remote control for the Wiimote.
It may be some time before we see these energy mavens rolling down a runway for Fashion Week but things are looking up in the cut-throat world of high fashion.

You know, I don't care what color these things are. It's an interesting idea. But it just doesn't seem convenient. I find myself charging about 8 batteries a week. And I don't have that many free USB ports, even though I have 2 USB cards and a hub.
I like my Duracell 15 min. charger, even if the fan does sound like it's sitting on an overclocked CPU.
I guess these would be useful for someone traveling. You could just throw a couple in your laptop bag. But if that's the case, then who cares what color they are?
Again, nice idea. But giving them iPod-like colors isn't going to make them sell like Jobskakes.
