USB Drum Kit

Your dream of being the legendary drummer in a legendary rock band may have come just a little closer to reality, with the USB Drum Kit.

There are six pads, set up to mimic an actual arrangement of drums, and the entire kit is small enough to fit on your desk or among a collection of other instruments, if you use your computer to make music on a regular basis. The kit rolls up to save space when not in use, and when you're ready to throw down some percussive beats, you unroll it, grab the two included drumsticks, and plug it in to any available USB port on your computer. Considering that the kit is USB, it also avoids the need for a specialized sound card or connector card, like many keyboards and other instruments require when you need to hook them up to your PC.

The USB Drum Kit comes with a tutorial CD to help you along the road to becoming a rock star. Imagine: groupies, tour buses, and masses of cheering fans. All of this can be yours for $30, until August, when the manufacturer reports it'll be hiking up the cost of stardom to $45.

Now -that's- something I'd free up a USB port for.

Awesome!!!! This is just what I am looking for. I do not have the room for a full set but I would like to learn how to play.

From what i read on other sites this isnt gonna be a very good sounding toy, er whatever. However, my idea is;

Buy the USB Drumset, and then use a Program called Joy2stick to recognize the drum beats as keystrokes on the keyboard, and then download frets on fire and make a Drum Based version of guitar hero for your computer to your favorite songs.

Don't get the "Full Drumkit" above.....unless you want to be stuck in a Swing Beat for the rest of your life (responce time is slow...anything past a slow swing beat it skips) It funny how the company changes its name every year. Last year it was Sunshine Advanced Drums ...now its ION iED05 Drumkit...

you can find the same info on google but I used to have one. You get what you pay for.
