Living in a small apartment downtown or being a poor college student are no longer good excuses for leaving dirty dishes all over the place. The Edgestar Portable Dishwasher is only about 18.5 inches high and is small enough to fit on any countertop or into a regular-sized cabinet. The entire device is designed to be user-friendly, so you can install it in your kitchen without having to call a plumber: the adapter fits nearly any faucet, and the Edgestar is small enough to fit into most cabinets. It heats water to about 185 degrees, and can accept plates up to 10.5 inches in diameter. It fits about four full place settings, and while it's not exactly energy efficient, it can add a dash of luxury even to the smallest and oldest apartments. The Edgestar Countertop Dishwasher will run you about $189. [via Product Dose]

This is really not a good product. We used one last summer during a road trip to the Grand Canyon and it broke down repeadtedly and literally broke apart too. It's cheap and really not worth the hassle.
