The woman in the cube next to mine is obnoxious. She leaves her cell phone turned up exceptionally loud, and when it goes off the entire office knows she's got an incoming call. Some of us have taken to hiding her cell phone when she lets it ring and then walks away, but I think I might leave her the Signal Cell Phone Adviser when her birthday comes around. This $21 gadget is designed to calm the nerves of office-dwellers worldwide by giving the user both a place to rest their cell phone and a device that will alert them silently to incoming calls.
When your phone is sitting in the Adviser, you can turn the ringer off entirely and it will change colors when it detects the signal that indicates a call is coming in. As soon as the phone knows that it's receiving a call, the Adviser starts to change color and flash, quietly alerting the user that they should pick up their phone. It's made of frosted plastic, so even the blinking is easy on the nerves. [via ProductDose]

Man, according to the product page, there's an estimated 8-10 week shipping delay du to "high demand."
Apparently Alan, yours is a common office dilemma.
I say take out her cell battery when she's not looking, for the sake of your own sanity. And if you happen to find a window to throw it out of, I'll disavow any knowledge.
"What exceptionally loud cell phone?"
